Your Career Journey

Let's start with your professional story!

  1. Can you tell us a bit about your career journey?

With over 25 years of experience in sales, channel, and account management, I have built a dynamic and resilient career spanning the telecommunications and cybersecurity industries. Throughout this journey, I’ve consistently driven growth, built strong client relationships, and enabled partner ecosystems to thrive in highly competitive and rapidly evolving markets.

My career has included roles across leading global and regional organisations, where I’ve managed complex sales cycles, developed high-performing partner strategies, and led cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business outcomes. Whether working with enterprise clients, service providers, or strategic channel partners, I bring a deep understanding of how to align customer needs with innovative technology solutions.

I’m passionate about building long-term relationships, mentoring teams, and driving strategic initiatives that deliver value to customers and business stakeholders alike. My ability to adapt across industries and business environments has been key to maintaining a strong track record of success.

  1. What led you to Taylor Made Sales?

After a fulfilling 25-year career in sales, channel, and account management across the telecommunications and cybersecurity industries, I made the intentional decision to take time away from the workforce to focus on raising my son.

As I re-enter the professional world, I was drawn to Taylor Made Sales not only for its strong reputation in the industry but also for its culture of flexibility and support for work-life balance, values that align closely with my own. I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute my experience to an organisation that recognises the importance of both personal and professional growth.

  2. What’s the most rewarding part of your work?

For me, the most rewarding part of work is building meaningful relationships, whether with customers, partners, or colleagues and seeing those relationships translate into tangible results. I find it especially fulfilling to understand a client’s needs deeply, collaborate to find the right solution, and then watch that partnership grow over time.

Additionally, mentoring others and contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture has always been a source of personal and professional satisfaction. Helping others succeed and being part of a collective win is incredibly motivating for me.

  3. If you could give career advice to your younger self, what would it be?

Trust the process and do not be afraid to take calculated risks.

Early in my career, I often focused on staying within my comfort zone, but some of my greatest growth came from stepping into new challenges and unfamiliar territory. I’d also remind myself that career paths aren’t always linear, every role, even the tough ones, teaches you something valuable. Lastly, I’d emphasise the importance of work-life balance and surrounding yourself with mentors and colleagues who support your development, both professionally and personally.

Beyond the Job—Let’s Get Personal!

A little fun to get to know you better!

  1. If my life were a movie or TV show, it would be…

    Eat Pray Love.

Like the main character, I’ve experienced different chapters in life that have required me to pause, reflect, and realign with what truly matters. After a long and fulfilling career, I made the intentional decision to step away and focus on raising my son, an experience that brought a deeper sense of purpose and clarity. Now, as I re-enter the professional world, I do so with renewed energy, perspective and a strong sense of what I want both in work and in life. It's been a journey of growth, resilience, and intentional choices, much like the film.

  2. If you could launch your own business tomorrow, what would it be?

It would be a consultancy focused on supporting individuals re-entering the workforce after a career break. Having chosen to prioritise family and step away from my career to raise my son, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities this transition presents. My business would provide mentorship, practical career guidance, and confidence-building tools to help people navigate their return with clarity and purpose. Ultimately, it would champion the belief that professional success and personal fulfillment can go hand in hand, with the right support and balance.

  3. My go-to pump-up song before a big meeting is…

    “Magalenha” by Sergio Mendes.

The infectious beats and lively energy instantly lift my spirits and get me moving with confidence and passion, ready to bring that same energy into the room.

  4. If my life had a tagline, it would be…

Resilient in Action, Leading with Heart

  5. Coffee, tea, or something stronger? (Bonus: How do you take it?)

I’m a dedicated tea drinker, there’s something comforting in a warm cup that helps me stay calm, focused, and balanced throughout a busy day.

  6. If we had a Taylor Made Sales talent show, my hidden talent would be…

Bringing energy and creativity, whether it’s in the kitchen preparing a great meal or on the dance floor enjoying a good groove. I like to think I bring the same passion and focus to everything I do.

Reflections on Your Career

Your take on work, growth, and the future!

  1. What’s a memorable moment in your career that stands out?

One of the most memorable moments in my career was leading a challenging sales and channel partnership project that involved coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders across different industries.

It was a complex process with many moving parts, but what made it stand out for me was how it tested my resilience and communication skills. Seeing the deal come together after persistent effort was incredibly rewarding, not just because of the business impact, but because it reminded me of the value of patience, collaboration, and trusting the process. That experience has stayed with me and continues to influence how I approach challenges both professionally and personally.

  2. What’s one thing you’ve learned in your career that you wish more people knew?

Resilience is essential, not just bouncing back, but adapting and learning from challenges. Embracing this mindset helps turn setbacks into opportunities for growth.

  3. If Taylor Made Sales had an official playlist, which song must be on it?

“Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey would be a must-have!

  4. Imagine it’s 2035—what does a day in the life of a tech professional look like?In 2035, tech professionals won't just use technology, they'll shape the future of humanity. Automation handles the routine, freeing minds to innovate, lead ethically and rethink what's possible.
